We ship all orders using trusted carriers such as USPS, UPS, and GlobalPost. Delivery estimates begin once the order has shipped, not from the date the order is placed.

International Shipping
We currently ship to select countries worldwide.
Please note:
- Customs duties, taxes, and import fees are the responsibility of the customer.
- Fees may be charged at delivery or included at checkout (depending on your country).
- Delivery time can be extended due to customs inspection or local postal delays.
SDK is not responsible for customs delays or additional import fees.
Pre-Orders
Some items may be available on pre-order. When ordering pre-order products:
- Estimated ship dates are listed on the product page.
- Pre-orders typically take 6–12 weeks to arrive at our warehouse (depending on production and freight timelines).
- Once received, allow 1–2 weeks for sorting, packing, and shipping.
- You’ll receive an email with tracking once your order ships.
Please note: Pre-order dates are estimates and may change due to manufacturing or logistics delays.
Tracking Your Order
Once your package ships, you will receive an email with your tracking number. Please allow up to 48 business hours for tracking updates to appear, as carriers may take time to scan packages.
Order Protection Shipping Insurance
We offer Order Protection at checkout to safeguard your package from loss, theft, and damage. If you added Order Protection to your order, you may file a claim here:

Filing Timeframes
- Lost (Stuck in Transit):
Domestic: File 7–30 days after the last tracking update
International: File 20–30 days after the last update - Stolen (Marked Delivered):
File 5–30 days from the delivery date - Damaged Items:
File within 30 days of delivery

Incorrect, Incomplete, or Return-to-Sender Addresses
Please double-check your address before placing your order.
If your package is returned to us due to:
- Missing apartment or unit number
- Invalid or incomplete address
- Failed delivery attempts
- Refusal or rejection
We will contact you to confirm your correct address.
- Re-shipping fees will apply for any reshipped order.
- Refunds, when applicable, may be subject to shipping deduction and a restocking fee.
SDK is not responsible for delivery delays caused by incorrect addresses entered at checkout.
Split Shipments
If your order contains both pre-order and in-stock items:
- SDK may ship in-stock items first to avoid delays, at our discretion.
- You will not be charged extra when we choose to split the shipment.
- If you request separate shipments, an additional shipping charge will apply.
- Each shipment will have its own tracking number.
Carrier Delays & Holiday Shipping
Once packages are handed off to USPS, UPS, or other carriers, delivery time is out of our control.
SDK is not responsible for:
- Weather-related delays
- High-volume seasonal delays (e.g., holidays)
- Customs processing delays
- Transit issues outside of our warehouse
We recommend placing holiday or time-sensitive orders early whenever possible.
Lost or Stolen Packages (Without Order Protection)
If you did not purchase Order Protection, SDK is not liable for:
- Packages marked “delivered” but not located
- Lost packages
- Stolen packages
However, we still want to support you. Please email us at info@selfdefenderkit.com, and we can offer a discounted repurchase option.
Holiday & Peak Season Notes
During peak seasons (such as Black Friday, Christmas, and major product launches), both processing and shipping times may be longer than normal. We always work to provide the fastest possible shipping under all circumstances.
